The Labors of Hercules

TitleThe Labors of Hercules
AuthorAgatha Christie

Book ReviewThis is a great collection of Agatha Christie's short stories. The collection of short stories parallels the mythological labors of Hercules, but in ways that are not as you expect. Hercule Poirot is a hilarious character, and the mysteries themselves in this book are very funny and clever. The parallels can be very stretched at times, but one can hardly expect a lion, a Cerberus, and an Aegean Stable to show up in a story set in twentieth-century England. A good book to read on a relaxing day, over a pot of tea.
