Book Review Norwegian Wood is about college student Toru and his devotion to Naoko, the girlfriend to his best friend, Kizuki. Their lives change when Kizuke commits suicide, affecting Naoko greatly that she sends herself to a special institution for mental recuperation. The same time Toru meets Midori, a college girl who is lively and the complete opposite of silent and petite Naoko. The story evolves with Toru's relationship with Naoko from his past and Midori from the present. Overall I found the last few chapters hard to pull through. I kept wondering how long it's going to take for things to pick up since it was a slow read and times.
