RatingHighly Recommended
Book ReviewA very well-written memoir, describing family members' connection to Haitian history and politics as well as the author's life so far.  Concise and introspective discussing abuse, social change, drugs and sexuality, sickle-cell anemia, college experiences, and more.  Very well-researched, and good at observing human differences.
