Title Lion Hearted
Author Andrew Loveridge
Call Number ILL
Location Other
Rating Highly Recommended
Book Review Loveridge is a research fellow with the University of Oxford who has dedicated his life to studying lions in Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. This book focuses on his studies and relationships with lions, as well the issues and dynamics of protecting them. Unlike the subtitle of the book states (The Life and Death of Cecil & The Future of Africa's Iconic Cats) this book only briefly covers the life of Cecil the Lion. However, it does cover in detail about the aftermath and what this means for conservation efforts. An easy read that was very informative, with loads of lion pictures.
