Book ReviewIt is a joy when I can "travel" while reading books. Inspector Brunetti lives in Venice, Italy and travels throughout the country for his work in the police. The author, Donna Leon consumes the reader into the chaos of crowded city living and contrasts the beautiful estates with their massive garden scenes. Leon helps us enjoy the quaint neighborhood ice cream shops and galleries, and of course the crime that occurs. This story involves, romance, murder, and self image, and how Inspector Brunetti and his team determine the guilty parties.
