I
read this play in four hours. It is definitely not an eighth book since we
have new heroes. It begins right where book seven leaves off... at Kings
Cross station. Since I do not follow the Pottermore stories, and having grown
up with the Harry Potters books, reading this book was like easing back into
the magical world, although I do wish there was a little more magic involved.
Our heroic trio are now parents, so a new theme is parenting in addition to
the themes of friendship and love. This book will definitely make sense if
you have already read the Harry Potter books and "Harry Potter and the
Goblet of Fire" in particular.
