If
you've ever dabbled in meditation, perhaps you already have a sense of what
there is to be gained by being still and going nowhere. This book
explores the concept and how many of us feel the need to escape to the
Nowhere more than ever before thanks to our pervasive devices that aim to
keep us connected. One of the interesting insights of the book is the
usefulness of these mental retreats for veterans as a means to combat PTSD.
This book felt like a 21st century homage to Thoreau's Walden. A peaceful, thoughtful
read.
