Book Review
The trio at the heart of this mystery are memorable, each in his or her own way. John Rebus, retired Glasgow PD; Malcolm Fox, formerly from internal affairs; and Siobhan Clarke, detective inspector, explore the fallout from the murder of a senior government prosecutor while unearthing a secret that had been hidden for decades. Wonderful pacing and extraordinary characters make this a fun and fast summer read. I am ready to tear through the other Rebus books!
