Book Review
Let me put this right up front: Daisy dies. After thinking that her bout with cancer was over, four years later she goes from breast cancer to Lots of Cancer. Although thinking about death is never fun or easy, the narrator has a deft touch with balancing humor and sadness with just the right amount of anger. As Daisy moves toward the inevitable, she embarks on a quest to find her husband a new wife so that he won’t be alone. But what happens if he already has a replacement in the wings? This is a lovely novel about letting go and holding on.
