Established in 2007 by the Leatherby Libraries, the Community of Readers is the summer reading program for Chapman University. This program is open to everyone who has borrowing privileges at the Leatherby Libraries and a current library account, including students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Members select books from the Leatherby Libraries and receive prizes upon submission of their first review. The only requirement is that books must be obtained through the Leatherby Libraries.

Book Review
The Night Bookmobile is deceptively simple seeming. Not much longer than a young child’s picture book, it presents a difficult question to the reader: what are we looking for when we read? Bookworms will recognize the familiar, if ephemeral, desire for someplace like The Library as expressed by Alexandra. Other stories have done it better, but The Night Bookmobile is still worth the 10 minutes it takes to read. The art isn’t very sophisticated, but does well enough for the length and subject of the book.
