TitleNever Let Me Go
Author Kazuo Ishiguro
Call Number PR6059.S5 N48 2005
Location 2nd Floor Humanities
Rating Highly Recommended
Book Review Time magazine called Never Let Me Go the best novel of 2005 and the novel lives up to this title. The story follows a trio of childhood friends coming of age and learning that their purpose in life is to donate their organs - leading to a deeply moving examination of what it means to be human. The story instantly hooked me and has continued to resonate me, even though I read it over a decade ago.
