Title Killing Commendatore
Author Haruki Murakami
Call Number MCNAUGHTONS
Location 1st Floor McNaughton
Rating Recommended
Book Review For fans of Murakami, Killing Commendatore presents another bizarre dive into the life of a man in need of a break from the world who finds himself briefly involved with an eccentric man and the supernatural. In other words, typical Murakami. While this novel is pretty standard for Murakami, I would say this book is bit more straightforward than some of his other books like Kafka on the Shore or 1Q84, so it could be a good introduction to his work. That being said, it didn't leave me with the same emotional impact that I experienced after Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki or Norwegian Wood.
