Book Review |
For fans of Murakami, Killing Commendatore presents
another bizarre dive into the life of a man in need of a break from the world
who finds himself briefly involved with an eccentric man and the supernatural.
In other words, typical Murakami. While this novel is pretty standard for
Murakami, I would say this book is bit more straightforward than some of his
other books like Kafka on the Shore or 1Q84, so it could be a good introduction
to his work. That being said, it didn't leave me with the same emotional
impact that I experienced after Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki or Norwegian Wood. |
