Book ReviewNo squeamish stomachs allowed. This fiction thriller is not for everyone. 1859. The 'Voluneer', a whaling ship, sets sail with a killer on board. Hunting, adventure, survival and a journey with a murderous psychopath, this story is gory, bloody, and brutal about an ex-army surgeon, Patrick Sumner, attempting to escape his past in India, enlists as the ship's doctor on a whaling expedition to the Arctic. Sumner soon learns he's not the only sailor escaping a less than honorable history.
