Book Review | This debut novel was filled with excitement, joy, grief and of course science. Elizabeth Zott refused to embrace the norms of the era and instead went full speed ahead in what she knew best, the science of chemical reactions: in her love life, work life, and in unplanned motherhood. This book was heartfelt, funny, and engrossing. The well-written text was intellectual, but easy to comprehend. An excellent summer read. |
