I read the first half in one sitting. The author perfectly captures the bored reality of a teenaged boy growing up in a small backwater town. As always, this boy meets a girl and falls in love. Except...this girl is actually a boy! I adored this coming-of-age tale of a young man struggling to come to terms with loving a transgendered person.
