Book ReviewThis book takes place in Oakland and traces several different characters of Indian ancestry as they make plans to attend the big pow wow. It is a heartbreaking story of addiction, crime, and hopelessness that faces many American Indians as they try to keep pace in the modern world and still honor their heritage.
