Book ReviewI was surprised to find that the Leatherby Libraries only holds the last two books of Mary Stewart's masterful Arthurian legend series, which begins with The Crystal Cave and continues with The Hollow Hills. The Last Enchantment is the third book in the series. It tells the story of Myrddin Emrys, the son of a Welsh princess and an unknown father, who grows up to become known as Merlin the Enchanter. It was my favorite series as a tween, and I return to it every few years and discover something new every time.
