Fables: 1001 Nights of Snowfall

TitleFables: 1001 Nights of Snowfall

Book ReviewA collection of stories set about 200 years before the main Fables storyline, in which Snow White takes on (and actually inspires) the role of Scheherazade and relates various tales to a king that would kill her in the morning otherwise. The stories all reveal parts of the backstories of the various Fables characters, before they lost their homelands. The art is generally pretty and the stories are great if you're into dark, adult, or twisted takes on fairy tales.
