| Book Review | If you are a fan of Philip Pullman's "Dark Materials" series, I would highly recommend this companion novel. Actually, even if you aren't familiar with Pullman's other works, it is a worthwhile read. Pullman's fantasy world is a lot like ours except everyone has a "daemon"--an animal-shaped embodiment of the soul. Beautiful, engaging and thought provoking--can't wait to read the next one in the series! |
