Scott Pilgrim and the Infinite Sadness

TitleScott Pilgrim and the Infinite Sadness
Author O'Malley, Bryan Lee
Call Number PN6733.O43 S368 2012 v.3
Location 1st Floor Graphic Novel
Rating Highly Recommended
Book Review The third installment of Scott Pilgrim is arguably the best, not merely because its title directly references the Smashing Pumpkins’ double LP, but because it marks the introduction of Scott's own ex and former bandmate, Envy, who is now the lead singer of a successful band. This issue jumps back and forth between present-day and Scott's memories, as his band Sex Bob-omb prepares to open for the Clash at Demonhead. Ramona’s-ex-of-the-week: bassist Todd Ingram, whose psychic vegan powers and current relationship with Envy spell plot development, especially as they prepare to fight under the bright lights and among the deep discounts at Toronto landmark, Honest Ed’s.
