Book Review | This thriller really kept my attention and the author did a remarkable job getting inside the head of a troubled alcoholic who is haunted by her past. The quick pace and mounting tension made for a great read that was somewhat tarnished at the end by the cartoonish, over-the-top dialogue of the villain once s/he was revealed at the end. I recommend it as a quick read, but am left wishing that the author had shown more restraint in the final chapters. |
