Book Review | Written in 1993, Butler shows a prescience for a world unraveling due to climate change, political turmoil, and police corruption. Born into this world, Lauren Olamina is an empath who reveals the birth of a new religion, Earthseed. From violence to the promise of a new life, this novel leaves you wanting more. I see more Octavia Butler in my future. |
