Book Review
In the 2nd book of the Tearling series, we follow the young Queen Kelsea (think Daenerys Targaryn meets Katniss Everdeen) as she grows into her role as Queen and preps her kingdom for an inevitable invasion by the neighboring Queen of the Mort. We find out more about the history of the Tearling and how they came to their land and learn more about the mysterious magic and power of Kelsea's royal sapphires. This follow-up to The Queen of the Tearling does not disappoint. I could hardly put it down and can't wait for the third book in this adult fantasy series to finally be released this November. Great for fans of Game of Thrones, fantasy/sci-fi novels, etc.
