The
first half of this book is a biography of L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of
Scientology, while the second half details the growth of the institution
after his death and its prevalence in Hollywood. It is quite a
surprising read, both in the amount of detail Wright was able to gather on
the secretive organization and in how deeply entrenched it is in Hollywood.
