Book Review
I admittedly read this book because I enjoyed the television series. I'm not much of a football fan, but this book is wildly engaging. It is the gritty story of the winningnest high school football team in Texas, where high school football reigns supreme. This book captures how all-consuming the sport is for a small town in Texas, and that influence on the team and community members alike.
