Book Review
I had an opportunity to read some Raymond Chandler earlier this year, and I was so taken with his style that I decided to read one of his novels.

What I will say is this. I think this kind of work is polarizing. Either you love it or you hate it. It is not high art, but if you are at all interested in the history of Los Angeles, or if you have a penchant for post-war fiction, this book would appeal to you. I happen to be interested in both, and I loved it.
