Book Review
I was inspired to read this after binge-watching "Reign" on TV. It is always entertaining to see just how far a writer will go in adapting history. This book gave proof to the great dimensions of dramatic license. As an historical read, it was just a bit tedious as the detail is quite extensive - both  worthy and overdone at the same time. It is readable and includes some lovely images as well, but does seem to drag a bit at times. Obviously well researched, I did enjoy it overall. And King Henri did get a lance in the eye. What luck!
