After
watching the Oscar-nominated film, I immediately wanted to read the book and
was not disappointed.
An Irish immigrant in 1950s New York falls for a tough Italian plumber, but struggles between her new American identity and her Irish ties back home. Charming and lovely, a great summer read. |
