Book Review
This is a collection of the Dunk & Egg prequel novellas to Martin's well-known A Song of Ice and Fire series (which became Game of Thrones on HBO).  Set 100 years prior to the more famous series, these three stories follow a hedge knight named Ser Duncan (Dunk) and his squire, the young prince Aegon Targaryen, who masquerades as Egg.  They are lighter in tone, more straightforward, and not nearly so graphic as the ASOIAF books, making them appeal to a wider audience who just wants a fun fantasy romp.
