Book Review
The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt, which won the Pulitzer prize and other acclaim, was easily the worst book I've read in some time.   The main character (along with most of the others) turned into such an unlikable and just plain dumb person that I hated him by the end.   Obviously there are others who have really liked this book, so it may be worth picking it up to see for yourself.  My advice if you do - stop reading if you aren't completely engrossed.  You won't miss anything and you'll save yourself a lot of frustration.
