Theo arrives to Golden, Georgia with a BIG secret; his name, identity, motivations, history, all become unimportant when he befriends the town members through art, conversation, and kindness. The author knew how to pull you into the secret motives of Theo's generous heart. I believe he wanted the reader to want to be kinder and to want to help make the world a better place to live, not just to exist.
