Book ReviewThis story intertwines three individuals over a hundred-plus years, whose lives are tied by water and the rivers they live by. Even though this story is fictional, it's based on a lot of historical events, and some of the characters are based on real people. Covering a variety of human rights issues, this book ends on a depressing, yet honest note. However, there is an element missing from this book that I still struggle to put my finger on.
