This was a popular recommendation for last
summer's group and was a must read for me this time around! Neil
Gaiman's dark, mysterious, and magical tone rises from the pages of this
graphic novel and transports the reader to the bridge between dreams and
reality. It is an extremely dark read, but so captivating and inventive. I love
the way that the Gaiman has given ethereal beings realistic form and the worlds
we visit throughout are so creative and complex. As most know, this is an
absolute tome, so my review here is a progress report. I'll have a part two
for you next month! |
