| Book Review |
The 4th story in the CB Strike series, the
detectives are hired to find "dirt" on a cabinet minster, but not
before a disturbed man thrusts himself into Strike's office to claim he
witnessed a murder of a child 20 years earlier. While Robin goes under cover in
the Ministry of Culture, their client is murdered and the case becomes more
dangerous and complicated. The duo finds a solid link between the disturbed man
and the dead client's family. And all the while Strike and Robin examine
their working and personal relationships within the agency and their home life
with their significant partners. |
