Book ReviewA well written story that shows the struggles of women and more specifically people of color. It's written in a post slavery southern environment where women are suppose to be southern belles looking for a husband but not everyone fits that mold. And despite the racism, not everyone thinks that skin color matters. Love is love is love regardless of color, gender, ethnicity, etc.
